The Sojourners Pathfinder Club has about 35 Pathfinders and 15 staff from the Kirkland, Bellevue, Edmonds, and Green Lake Churches. Our club’s mission is to encourage each Pathfinder to develop a love for the Lord, develop common sense, be responsible, and develop an attitude of service, unselfishness, and leadership. We do this by providing a fun, safe environment with caring, patient staff who will mentor each Pathfinder as they study Scripture and worship, participate in physical activities and outdoor games, serve others during “share your faith” activities, experience nature during 3-4 campouts per year, and learn new skills and hobbies by completing 4-8 honors per year. All young people ten (10) years and older are invited to join and participate in this great organization! Adults interested in helping as staff may contact Anita Dorland for more information. Our youth ministry provides support and encouragement for young people at what can be a most critical part of their Christian experience. Creating an environment where young people are safe to share and explore their faith, ask questions and openly express their challenges is one of the main goals of this ministry. |
