Philip Lizzi (pronounced Lit-zee), was born in Angwin, California. He is the second of four children born to Seventh-day Adventist Christian parents.
It was during his senior year at Analy High School in Sebastopol, California, that Pastor Lizzi was encouraged to enter into gospel ministry by his Drama teacher and also his American Democracy teacher, who said, “He who has a faith has that which all men want, share it and men will thank you for it.” Little did Philip anticipate the adventures that awaited him.
After four years of college, marriage to his teenage bride, and two years of graduate school, he entered into full-time pastoral ministry in the Southeastern California Conference of Seventh-day Adventists in San Diego, California. During the subsequent years, Pastor Lizzi has pastored in Idaho, Hawaii, Oregon, and Washington. He has always maintained his purpose of helping others develop a genuine friendship and trust in God as they eagerly anticipate the soon return of Jesus.
Judy Lizzi, Associate Pastor
Judy (Cuccia) Lizzi was born in Sacramento, California, as the youngest of four children, to Seventh-day Adventist Christian parents.
With the aspiration of a career in the field of dentistry, Judy enrolled at Pacific Union College in Angwin, California. As academic pursuits unfolded, so did a budding romance with Philip Lizzi. Instead of a career in dentistry, God redirected her plans as He called Judy into ministry alongside of her husband.
In conjunction with pastoral ministry, Judy has been a full-time and substitute teacher at Seventh-day Adventist schools in Hawaii, Oregon, California and Washington.
After years of active ministry, Judy was Commissioned by the Washington Conference as a pastor of the Seventh-day Adventist Church on May 2, 2009.
God’s plans have proven to be infinitely exciting for Judy, her husband and two children. He has placed her in interesting circumstances, challenging situations, and desirable locations, which have offered her the greatest opportunities imaginable in which to share God’s Good News with others.

Debbie Williams, Administrative Assistant
Debbie Williams grew up in San Diego, California. She became a Seventh-day Adventist as a teenager through a Revelation Seminar at the La Mesa Seventh-day Adventist Church.
From 1991-1992, Debbie lived in Illinois to work for Three Angels Broadcasting Network and was married during that time. Circumstances took them back to San Diego, where they attended the El Cajon Seventh-day Adventist Church and met Pastors Phil & Judy Lizzi.
In 1996, their first child was born. After his birth, Debbie continued working until their daughter was born in 2000. At that time, she assisted in their family business and home-schooled their son.
In 2006 when her husband was reassigned to work in Seattle, Washington, they packed up their family and moved to the great Northwest. Debbie was happy to learn that their former Pastor from San Diego had also moved to the Seattle area in 2004. Debbie and her family began attending the Kirkland Seventh-day Adventist Church. Once settled in the Northwest, she applied for and was chosen for the open position of Administrative Assistant at the Kirkland Church.
Debbie is happy that she can share her love for the Lord through contact with the community and her church family by being of service to others as the Kirkland Church Administrative Assistant.
