Communion Service This Sabbath

Dear Kirkland church family,
We are going to celebrate communion this coming Sabbath March 6. With Covid we cannot have foot washing so you are invited to do this at home if you like. When you come into church, there will be a table with a bottles of grape juice and ziploc bags with a piece of communion bread. Please take one of each into the service with you and we will celebrate receiving Christ and what he has done for us together. Also, this week pray for Jesus to prepare your heart so this is a powerful experience for you. For those of you who are worshipping from home, the recipe for communion bread is below and you can make it and get pure grape juice so you can take part with us from home. It is an important reminder that the Christian life is not about what we bring Jesus but about what we receive from him. Whatever we give him and do for him and in obedience to him is merely and only saying thank you. It is deeply encouraging to our hearts to take part on this. Please make plans to be part of this. The darker the world gets the more we need the peace and joy of trusting Jesus.

Thank you to each one who took part in the medical and dental clinic this past Sabbath. Whenever Jesus performed a healing miracle on Sabbath he always initiated the healing. Most of the other miracles Jesus was approached and asked for help.
