FREE Medical/Dental Clinic

On Saturday, February 27, 2021, our church will be holding our third free medical and dental clinic! This event is one of the most popular events our church holds and it is well-circulated within the Kirkland community and beyond. When we held our clinic last year in January 2020, we were able to treat 60 patients in one day with one person being baptized! This year, because of COVID19, we are taking extra precautions to ensure the safety of our patients and volunteers - one of them requiring that prospective patients make an appointment with us. This event is for evangelism so if you know of anyone who is in need of medical, dental, and/or spiritual help, please share with them our flyer and have them request an appointment with us!
Additionally, we are in need of more dentist volunteers, so if you are a dentist or know of a dentist who would like to help out, please let us know!
Furthermore, if you believe in our mission and reaching others, please consider donating to the ministry, for we are financially limited this year, so we can provide additional resources to our patients, such as lab testing and supplements!

For those who do not have access to medical/dental care,
appointment times between 8am-10am & 12:00pm-5pm

Thank you and God Bless!

Re-Opening Safety Guidelines

King County is still in Phase 2, which allows churches to meet with up to 25% of it's capacity, which means we may have up to 110 people in the sanctuary and overflow in the Fellowship Hall. We begin our simplified service at 11am. We will not be holding any Sabbath School classes nor meals at the church at this time.
If you are planning to attend, please be aware of the following precautions:
Masks must be worn throughout the service while in the building (unless you have medical reasons not to). We will provide a mask if you don’t have one.
• Maintain social distancing of 6 feet inside and outside of the building.
• Restrooms should have no more than 2 people in them at a time.
• Those who are at-risk for health conditions are encouraged to stay home.
• If you are sick, please stay home and join us on livestream until you are well.
• Please socialize outside in the breezeways or in the parking lot, not inside the buildings.
Thank you for taking steps to ensure the health of our congregation!

1/3 of the Portuguese Church pastor’s salary equaling $11,000, for his 1st year here. To contribute, please mark your tithe envelope “Portuguese Pastor.” Questions, contact Pastor Brandao.

Announcement Info: If you ever have an announcement to add to the bulletin, bulletin board or from the pulpit, please get approval from the office by noon Thurs or speak directly to a pastor. Thank you!

Shut-Ins: In an effort to provide better care for our members, we are asking your help in locating members of the Kirkland church who are not able to come to Sabbath services. We do not always know when someone is ill or disabled. Our pastors and elders would love to visit with these valuable members.

Room/House for Rent? We receive many requests from various Adventist members needing temporary housing/rooms to rent in this area. If you have anything available, please contact the church office, 425-822-7922.

Information Changes: If your address and/or phone ever change, please make that indication on your tithe envelope or a pew card so the information also gets to the Treasurer, they will not know by your check alone. Thank you.

  • "Just Us," a new podcast from Washington Conference, launched this year to model healthy and respectful conversation about race, justice and Christianity. “Second Corinthians 7:2 gives counsel to ‘make room in your heart,’ and that is what we desire to do through this podcast,” says Bill Roberts, podcast host. “We may not always agree with each other, but we want to respect each other and move forward with understanding to bring glory to God and to help this world be a better place."The podcast originated after a pastor’s meeting in January 2019 where ministers learned how to have crucial conversations. “I asked the panel: ‘What can we do to keep growing?’” Roberts recalls. “The younger pastors said: ‘Do a podcast.’” Roberts is joined in the podcast with co-hosts Hanz Jouissance, John Brunt, and Mimi Weithers-Bruce. Each 45-60-minute episode blends history, personal experience and scripture. The pilot episode shares how the panel became involved in racial reconciliation.“It’s a difficult conversation in the church because we are all believers who are supposed to have a common ground,” admits Jouissance.“There are so many people who don’t want to change their heart. They want to keep things the way they are,” acknowledges Weithers-Bruce. “We are asking people to listen and learn.”
