Sermon Topic: Throughout history we can find events that have marked humanity, we can also find discoveries or inventions that have changed humanity. We will answer the question “WHAT HAPPENED” that out of a group of 120 disciples of Jesus (Acts 1:15) today is the largest religious group in the world with 2.4 billion followers. I want to suggest that the one who completely changed humanity was Jesus. And it was his death and his resurrection that inspired those disciples through the Holy Spirit to preach it Everywhere. We will analyze 3 realities that the disciples understood and because of that they were able to make that group of 120 people to 2.4 billion.
1) I don't have to live with guilt and shame.
2) I don't have to do life alone.
3) I am unconditionally loved by God.
Jesus changed history in such a way that today the calendar is divided into BC and AD. It was only Jesus who could mark, change and transform humanity. And in the same way today God has the power to mark you, to change you and to transform you. God wants to make you a great blessing to others. God has something better for you! You just have to be willing. Let me ask you, are you willing?

Re-Opening Safety Guidelines
King County is now in Phase 3, however, until the distancing is reduced from 6 feet, we are unable to seat anymore people than 25% capacity and still distance safely. We have a committee that will be evaluating a plan for returning to normal as we are allowed. Until then, we will continue to have up to 110 people in the sanctuary with overflow in the Fellowship Hall. Our service begins at 11am and we are not holding any Sabbath School classes or meals at this time.
If you are planning to attend, please be aware of the following precautions:
• Masks must be worn throughout the service while in the building (unless you have medical reasons not to). We will provide a mask if you don’t have one.
• Maintain social distancing of 6 feet inside and outside of the building.
• Restrooms should have no more than 2 people in them at a time.
• Those who are at-risk for health conditions are encouraged to stay home.
• If you are sick, please stay home and join us on livestream until you are well.
• Please socialize outside in the breezeways or in the parking lot, not inside the buildings.
Thank you for taking steps to ensure the health of our congregation!

We have begun a new study looking at the book “HOPE for Troubled Times – How to thrive in a shattered world” by Pastor Mark Finley. ‘Fear, worry, and stress can overwhelm and consume us, but fear must give way to faith as we adjust our focus. "Just Us," a new podcast from Washington Conference, launched this year to model healthy and respectful conversation about race, justice and Christianity. “Second Corinthians 7:2 gives counsel to ‘make room in your heart,’ and that is what we desire to do through this podcast,” says Bill Roberts, podcast host. “We may not always agree with each other, but we want to respect each other and move forward with understanding to bring glory to God and to help this world be a better place."The podcast originated after a pastor’s meeting in January 2019 where ministers learned how to have crucial conversations. “I asked the panel: ‘What can we do to keep growing?’” Roberts recalls. “The younger pastors said: ‘Do a podcast.’” Roberts is joined in the podcast with co-hosts Hanz Jouissance, John Brunt, and Mimi Weithers-Bruce. Each 45-60-minute episode blends history, personal experience and scripture. The pilot episode shares how the panel became involved in racial reconciliation.“It’s a difficult conversation in the church because we are all believers who are supposed to have a common ground,” admits Jouissance.“There are so many people who don’t want to change their heart. They want to keep things the way they are,” acknowledges Weithers-Bruce. “We are asking people to listen and learn.” LISTEN on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Google Podcast or Anchor WATCH on YouTube
